The long sword is the strongest sword-type weapon in the game. It drops rarely from Ratingar and frequently from Skaldor.
The long sword has 10 attack and 7 extra pixels of range. The long sword does not have particularly high damage for being the best in its class but its range is unmatched, making it somewhat useful for kiting (hit and run) strategies.
Sholop buys long swords for 100 gold and sells them for 500. Darklow buys long swords for 80 gold and sells them for 550 gold.
